Who is responsible

Strategic Sloth LLC, registered in Wyoming, United States, collects and uses the personal information described here. Mailing address: 1021 E Lincolnway, 526, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States.

The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Rémi Couture. Contact: privacy@strategicsloth.com.

This policy covers the 24/7 auto-reply assistant service in Quebec. It is published in French first. This is the English version. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails. The website as a whole has its own privacy policy.

Your consent

Before you submit the onboarding form, you tick a checkbox to consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes described here.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to privacy@strategicsloth.com. Withdrawal may stop us from continuing the service.

Information we collect

• Contact: name, email and phone.
• Business: name, type, address, Google Maps link, website, Instagram, hours and languages.
• Staff: WhatsApp numbers of staff who will receive alerts.
• Assistant content: FAQ answers, prices, booking rules and policies.
• Meta data: the WhatsApp Business account ID and phone number ID returned by Meta's signup, and an access token from Meta if you connect through Embedded Signup.
• Billing: order and billing data from Stripe (customer ID, plan, payment status). We never see full card numbers.

Why we use it

• Provide and support the service.
• Set up the assistant.
• Send confirmations and alerts.
• Billing and accounting.
• Meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for marketing without separate consent.

Your business's customer information

The assistant processes messages your customers send and receive on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and by text. It writes leads to your own Google Sheet.

Your business is responsible for that information. We act on its behalf, as a service provider, only to run the assistant. Your business should tell its customers about this processing.

Who has access and transfers outside Quebec

On our side, only Rémi Couture has access to your information, along with the following providers for their part of the service:

• Stripe: payments.
• Resend: email.
• Upstash: database.
• Vercel: hosting of the forms and API.
• Meta: WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.
• Twilio: text messages.
• Google: Google Sheets.

Several of these providers are in the United States. Your information may therefore be processed outside Quebec.

Retention and confidentiality incidents

• Onboarding and service data are kept for the duration of the service plus 12 months after it ends. They are then destroyed or anonymized.
• Billing and tax records are kept as long as tax law requires, which is 6 years.
• Draft onboarding data that was never submitted is deleted after 6 months.

If a confidentiality incident occurs, we handle it and record it in our register. We notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned when the law requires it.

Your rights and complaints

By writing to privacy@strategicsloth.com, you can:

• Access your information.
• Have it corrected.
• Withdraw your consent.
• Get your information in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability).
• Ask for deindexation, where applicable.

We answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Local storage and updates

The forms use your browser's local storage to save your progress. You can clear it in your browser settings. Site analytics follow the main privacy policy and are off by default.

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version in French first, with its date. For important changes, we will tell you by email.
