SPATIAL PRODUCT / WEB APPLICATION

A floor plan becomesa place you can explore.

A connected 2D/3D property application with plan editing, furnished walkthroughs, and presentation views. The work below uses a synthetic demonstration property.

THE DESIGN QUESTION

What needed
to become clearer?

A plan describes dimensions and connections, but it takes another kind of view to understand how a space feels. The interface needs to carry the same property across editing, inspection, and presentation.

Floor-one plan of the synthetic demonstration home
The structure / A saved floor plan from the demonstration property.
Rendered room in the synthetic demonstration home
The experience / A room view from the same demonstration property.

THE DECISION

Connect the views
to the task.

Connect the plan and its spatial presentation. Keep geometry review distinct from the final walkthrough, so a convincing image does not replace checking the underlying structure.

THE WORKING RESULT

Watch it.
Inspect the details.

The saved project includes floor plans, room views, an exterior image, and a recorded walkthrough. Together, these show the application’s spatial presentation work.

90-second silent walkthrough of a synthetic demonstration home. Rendered application output; not a real property listing.

What to look for

  1. Read the plan as a layout of connected spaces.
  2. Compare it with the furnished room view and the walkthrough.
  3. Notice how spatial presentation supports a different task from geometry editing.

THE APPROACH

Make the next
decision easier.

A closer look at how the product organizes the work.

01

Start with structure

The measured plan is the basis for the building, rather than a decorative image behind the tour.

02

Review the geometry

Separate geometry approval from presentation approval; changing the source invalidates prepared results.

03

Prepare the experience

Compose room views and a walkthrough through the synthetic home, with presentation assets that can be inspected together.
