WHAT 1.0 DOES

Plug in.
Make yourself at home.

From the first connection to the last safe eject, built around working with an external drive.

01 / YOUR WORKSPACE

A desktop for your drive.

DriveDeck detects external drives through native device notifications. Claim a drive and browse a large-icon desktop, with pins for Desktop, Downloads, Projects, Archives, Music, and DJ Sets.

Switch any folder window to a sortable Details view. A host tray helper can open DriveDeck automatically when your claimed drive is plugged in.

02 / BRING TO DRIVE

Transfers you can manage.

Queue files, pause or cancel a transfer, and handle conflicts as they come up. Resume after an interrupted session, with optional BLAKE3 verification.

Import music into a flat folder, an Artist/Album structure, or a new DJ set folder, with audio tags.

03 / FIND & ORGANIZE

Keep everything within reach.

Quick Look, file properties, thumbnails, and indexed search with filters help you find what you need.

Undo and redo file operations, with an app-side trash stored on the drive. An activity log keeps the work visible.

04 / READY TO UNPLUG

Leave with confidence.

Native Safely Eject is gated while copies are running and aware of what is holding the drive open.

Check drive health through SMART/NVMe reporting and back up pins to a second drive.

Accessible from the start.

Full keyboard navigation, screen-reader roles, and first-run coach marks.

Considered delivery.

A signed installer with in-app updates. Crash reports are opt-in and scrubbed on-device.
